This marks the beginning of the end. We’re in the home stretch of senior year. This is it, this is my last competition ever. The feelings I have right now are so overwhelming.

Wednesday: Favorite team tradition
My favorite team tradition is going up to kickoff. Every year the night before we travel up to phoenix and attend the workshops that they hold. Usually a few of my friends and I go to 1 of the workshops and then hang out in the parking lot. one year we played hide-n-seek and then the next we played other games and just talked and hung out. After that, we go back to a school and spend the night there. We usually stay up late playing team bonding games and then we are supposed to go to bed but we never do. We stay up and talk about how excited we are, or we make something for other members and its fun. Last year all the girls made little cards for the boys that said good things about them and then a CRUSH related pun. They were shaped in our traditional crush-bots and they were super adorable. There were like 4 girls and we made like 30 cards that night.
Monday: Favorite robotics quote or memory
My favorite robotics memory is when I first went to a regional my first year on the team. I had spent the most hours out of anyone else doing something robotics related that year. When we got to the AZ regional I was just the happiest person. I ran around greeting other teams and giving out buttons and everything else. I barely slept at all the night before, or while at the regional, but somehow I had so much energy the entire weekend and was able to keep cheering the entire time. I loved meeting everyone and was truly amazed at the group of kids there and how fun everyone was.
